Detroit Diecast Drive In speakers are manufactured right here int the USA from original molds used in drive in movie theaters across America. This faithful reimagining of the classic speaker is as stylish as it is well engineered. RCA drive in theater speakers were originally made in in Camden, New York in the 1950's. Full size Drive-In speaker set is stereo sound and is quite loud and will suit your party requirements.
AMPLIFIER: The amplifier is a 8W rms/channel amplifier with exceptionally low noise and high efficiency. Excellent balance of battery life and amplifier power.
BATTERY: The battery is rated at over 50 Whr and allows for easy charging with the provided charger. A dedicated battery management system is fully integrated into the system and is designed to eliminate problems created by over and under voltage conditions. Battery life is over 25-30 hours use at moderate volumes.
SPEAKER/DRIVER: The 4" Detroit Diecast speaker cones produce great sound which is a full range cone design which provides extended high frequency range. This is a period correct speaker with faithfully reproduces the sounds of the 50's. The system is a true stereo with one RCA being the left channel and the other RCA being the right channel. The speakers are connected through the speaker cords to the Junction Box and cannot be removed. There’s 5 foot length of the speaker wire to allow the speaker to be placed on the table next to the Junction box. Volume is controlled by both smart device and Drive-In speaker potentiometers!
COMPONENTS: Continuous rotation volume control potenmeter, original RCA knobs, speaker cone screens, Detroit Diecast 6-foot speaker cords.
POWER SWITCH: On/Off latching switch that offers an LED light that shows that the amplifier is on. Power switch is on the front underside of the junction box.
CHARGING PLUG: Charging plug is a 5.5x2.1mm plug that is on the next to the power switch on the underside of the junction box.
CHARGER: The stereo speaker system comes with 12.6V 1A charger. The charger has indicator lights to show when the batteries are charging (red led) and when they are fully charged (green led). A fully depleted battery will take approximately six hours to fully charge.
All components are mounted in custom designed brackets which integrate directly into the die cast enclosure. Plated steel machine screws thread directly into the internal bosses to provide a solid base for mounting the amp and power circuit boards.

Heavy duty round base was designed to support our unique 2 inch metal pole for Drive-In Speakers. The base is powder coated.
Total width of base is 12 inches. 1-1/2 inches high from top to bottom. Easy to assemble, base plate is made of cast iron metal.
Includes Powder Coated 36 length Metal/Steel Junction Box Base Support Pole.
The Outer diameter (OD) of the pole is 2-inches. One end attaches to the base, the other to Drive-In Speaker Junction box.
Retaining plate incorporated in bottom of pole to support pole to base.
Retaining bolt and washer included.
Total weight of the pole is just under 5 pounds.
